The highly anticipated finale of the URS World Rally Championship has come to a thrilling conclusion at Wales Rally. Amidst the snow-covered landscapes and challenging gravel stages, a champion has been crowned, and a remarkable rally victory has been achieved.




In a momentous achievement, Aleksi Paakkinen has secured the title of World Rally Champion. The Finnish driver's consistent performance throughout the season, coupled with his unwavering determination, has earned him this coveted honor. Congratulations once again to Paakkinen on his well-deserved triumph, and we eagerly anticipate his future endeavors within our organization.

The battle for championship glory between Hubert Markowicz and Aleksi Paakkinen reached its climax at Wales Rally. However, fate dealt a cruel blow to Markowicz as he retired during the tenth section. Nevertheless, his stellar performance throughout the season has earned him the distinction of URS WRC Vice-Champion. A resounding congratulations to Markowicz for his outstanding achievement.



We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to Oscar Estevez, the asphalt ace, for securing third place in the championship. Estevez's exceptional skills and unwavering determination have earned him a well-deserved spot on the podium.


The Private Teams Cup witnessed a fierce battle, with the legendary Marco Piardi and Diego Reboldi emerging victorious. Piardi also clinched the title of Champion among Private Team Drivers, further solidifying his status as a force to be reckoned with. Well done to Piardi and Reboldi for their remarkable accomplishments.



Diano Dario showcased exceptional talent in the Production class, claiming the championship title and securing victory in the R4 standings. Dario's consistent performance and dedication have set a high standard for aspiring rally drivers.



Last but certainly not least, we celebrate Jody Cleenwerck's long-awaited rally victory in the URS WRC season. Cleenwerck's perseverance and determination have finally paid off, cementing his place among the rally elite. Congratulations to Cleenwerck for his outstanding achievement.


We extend our congratulations to all participants who have received well-deserved recognition and accolades. This season has been a testament to the unwavering passion, skill, and sportsmanship displayed by all competitors.

The URS World Rally Championship has covered 14 rallies, encompassing 171 rally sections and spanning an impressive distance of 1,106 kilometers and 100 meters.
